Drug resistance is the resistance of bacteria or fungi which is usually insensitive to the drug and difficult to treat. The organism that is resistant to high-end antibiotics is Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Vancomycin-resistant enterococci, and certain microbes. It is a global problem because it was rising at high levels. On another side list of infectious diseases added every time. It develops a wide challenge for the health care professional because it affects clinical outcomes. The CDC has developed some of the strategies such as

• Minimize the use of antibiotics unless it is vital.
• Minimize the risk of infection by following preventive measures such as hand hygiene, infection control measures.
• Make awareness about the importance of the vaccine.
• Prevent sexually transmitted disease because most of the STD is easily spread by bacteria.
• Increase the knowledge of food intake and reduce food poisoning.

Most of the research studies shown that following of these measures especially effective hand washing techniques reduces the risk of infection. Studies also show improper prescribing and inappropriate intake of antibiotics are the ultimate cause for drug resistance. CDC strategies must be followed at every organization very strictly until no more identity of patients with these problems. Drug resistance implementation program must be implemented in every organization. Public health professional recommends educating the patient to get symptomatic relief rather than antibiotic intake.
