Answer #1

In Proximal tubule there is tubular reabsorption of Solutes using the Na+- H+ pump active transport .Solutes such as Glucose, fructose ,galactose, HCO3- and aminoacids are reabsorbed actively and H+ are secreted actively via Na+ H+ pump to maintain the gradient.

Also proximal tubule actively excretes choline resulting in a reduction of choline in the body.Creatinine is actively secreted by the proximal tubule from the peritubular capillaries in small amounts.Penicilin is water soluble drug actively secreted by the Proximal tubule.

Thus

  1. Fructose-Active reabsorption
  2. Galactose-Active reabsorption
  3. Choline-Active secretion
  4. Creatinine-Active secretion
  5. H+ - Active secretion
  6. HCO3- -Active reabsorption
  7. Penicilin-active secretion
