Q18 C (ascending limb) is the correct answer.

The ascending limb of loop of henle is a part of nephron, It is impermeable to the water but ascending limb is permeable to the ions like sodium (Na+), chloride (Cl-) and pottasium (K+) so it get reabsorbed by this segment and ascending limb opens into the distal convoluted tubule (DCT).
