Answer #1

Amazon is the undisputed e-commerce pioneer in the US where it is estimated to own approximately 44 cents of every dollar spent on internet shopping. The business has already had a taste of the offline retail market with its popular "amazon books" store. Because of its relentless emphasis on delivering unique customer experience, the company has been competitive in the online retail market by constantly enhancing its offerings and innovating processes and strategies. This online shopping expansion has helped the company develop a capital arsenal of 268,900 staff, some of the finest data analyst and technologygurus.

All these tools paired with a top management, who is willing to create newexperiences for its customers, is the perfect combination required to become the largest offline retail player. An offline presence would be beneficial for growth because buyers want more personal interaction with many items. That approach will accelerate the company's success as it tries to merge online and offline platforms to deliver a more integrated shopping experience.

Thus, I conclude that while it is unclear if Amazon will become the biggest offline retail participant. It certainly has the skills and tools to do that.
