This is just basic Bragg diffraction

. Use the standard equation: n x lambda = 2d x sin(theta)

For the 2nd strong max, n = 2, lambda = 0.0983nm = 0.0983x10^-9m, theta equals 23.7 deg

d = 0.24nm

lambda = 2 d sin theta

d = 0.0983/(2*sin(23.7 degrees)= 0.122 nm
