When we utilize physiological measures, we have to keep in mind
that psychological measures are always susceptible to influence of
mental workload which undermines its effectiveness when used as a
point of reference. We need to consider that not all conditions and
not an environment would have some considerations and constraints
and therefore, some measures might not be useful for some
particular environment. We should also consider the fact that no
one measure has the necessary scale or framework to measure all
requirements, leaving room for improvement and therefore, making
the implementation less than ideal. A system of measurement needs
to be robust and universal for it to be used with the most
effectiveness and therefore, physicilogcial measures should not be
used.

19) Why would increasing the workload on the heart lead to hypertrophy rather than hyperplasia of the myocardium? a) The vast majority of the functional cardiac muscle cells are labile cells. b) Hyperplasia is a type of adaptation in response to physiological stimuli while hypertrophy is always in response to pathological conditions. c) Contractile cardiac muscle cells are terminally differentiated cells, also called permanent cells that can no longer undergo mitosis. d) The vast majority of the contractile cardiac...

Choose a construct (sexual jealousy, self-confidence, etc.) and find and describe two measures of that construct in the research literature. Identify the references (using APA style) and describe the measures for each (find at least two peer-reviewed scientific articles). If you were conducting your own study, which one (if either) would you use and why?
