- Believing on gut instinct. Women are very good at sensing their gut feeling and they quickly tend to get wrong vibes around people who make them feel uncomfortable. So it's always safer to stay away and avoid such people which women mostly do.

- If women travel a lot on daily basis then they also choose to keep certain self defense gadgets that may help them if need arises. The most common one is a pepper spray.

- One may also keep shifting their early morning jogging routes as well. Following the same route daily makes one predictable and thus it becomes easier to become victims of such crimes like assault.

- For those women who stay alone or away from their family, ensuring safety at home also becomes vital. They may double check if their doors and windows are locked properly.

- Women may also download certain apps that are available. These are like emergency or SOS apps that can be used to call for help immediately if needed.

- Women may also keep a record of all the emergency numbers so that they are prepared to call for help if they land up in such unfortunate situations.
