The user requirements gathering procedure for the given problem:

  • First the document submitted by the company is studied and the level-0 requirements are gathered. The document will be reviewed and the primary requirements will be gathered.
  • Next step is the observation of the user primary requirements and prepare the questions that has to be asked while the meeting with the company agents.
  • Next stage is the conducting the meeting and perform the requirement survey. The survey is used to assess the actual need of the database and the size and other configuration required for the database will get from this phase.
  • The questionnaire prepared from the observation phase is getting solved from the company in the survey phase.
  • Now the actual requirements are gathered, and it is again cross checked with the company and convinces the updated requirements.
