In business and in other aspects of life, people put themselves in serious ways that constitute ethical dilemmas for them. Dr. Blanchard and Dr. Peale suggested a Three Part Test to resolve ethical dilemmas. What are they? Discuss each of the three tests. Anderson's Business Law listed other three tests/models for resolving ethical dilemmas. List them, and define them. Which one do you prefer, and why?

The three test model of the Person BP model includes the questions Is the action legal? Is the action balanced? How an unethical action affects a person? and are discussed as below:

The first test is whether the action is legal or not (Is the action legal?) - The person should at first assess whether the action or the activity is legal or not. If in case the action is proved to be illegal, then the person should not go with the second step as the model suggests since it is proven to be illegal at the first test itself.

The second is whether the action is balanced or not (is the action balanced?) - Which means whether the situation by which one's action has affected an individual or even a group of people, it is obvious that the situation will be imbalanced. By which such individuals would suffer from unethical behavior.

The third and last step is How the action is going to make an individual feel? - Which means in the ethical dilemma process, the individuals should try to assess how much the action of a particular person is going to affect them emotionally by the unethical action of such individual.

Andersons' Business Law has listed a total of three models for resolving ethical dilemmas out of them the first one is Blanchard and Peale Test (BP Test), the second one is Front Page of the newspaper test and the last one is Laura Nash Model.

The Front page of the newspaper test involves choosing whether to publish or tot ell the decision of ours. In the bookish terminology it was told as Would I want my decision published. The front page exam is analytically helpful because it promotes a public official to think about how the outside world might look at his or her behavior. People tend to rationalize their behavior, generally by beginning their assessment with what they want to do and then reverse thinking to justify that course of action

The Laura Nash model - Requires examination of the dilemma from all perspectives - Defining the problem helps avoid the dilemma again - Ask for the perspective of family and friends.

I would prefer the Laura Nash Model because it considers all the perspectives while resolving an ethical dilemma, whereas the other two tests aren't. It also allows us to take others opinion by asking our friends and family members which is also a good thing. So i would choose the Laura Nash Model from the above three models.
