We can predict the colour of solution:

1.

pOH = -log(0.4) = 0.39

pH = 14 - pOH = 14 - 0.39 = 13.63

When NaOH (Base) added with methyl orange then the colour of solution is predicted Yellow.

2.

pH = -log(o.3) = 0.522, pH value is less than 6.8 means acid.

When HCl (Acid) added with phenol red then the colour of solution is predicted Yellow.

3.

At pH range 4 to 5.6

When acid and base both are titrated with bromocresol green, Blue colour is predicted.

4.

pH range observed 8 to 10

When acid and base both titrated with phenolphthalene, pink colour is predicted.
