There are three genes located in the gene order A-B-C on a chromosome. Would you expect the recombination frequency to be higher between A and B or A and C?

The recombination frequency will be higher for A and B than A and C because for the recombination between A and C it requires double cross over which is always less. Hence recombination frequency will be higher between A and B.
