In the NMR the ratio of the protans is the 1:13 or It consider as 1:12

The ratio indicates one is the Acidic protan and 12 is the Methyl protans. That means four methyl groups may be present.

Here four -CH3 groups and one -COOH group, Means we have to look for the 5 valency atom. That may be the phosphorous.

From NMR: 1.0 1.0 1.0 OH 12.3 1.0

From C13 it indicates one is carbonyl and four CH3 groups.

From C13 NMR: 38 38 38 он 185 38

From IR spectra:

3400-2400 cm-1 -OH str in -COOH

2950-2750 cm-1 aliphatic C-H str

1700 cm-1 C=O str

1440 cm-1 O-H bend

1375 cm-1 -CH3 bend

750 & 650 cm-1 P-C aliphatic
