Class C power amplifier is a type of amplifier where the active element (transistor) conduct fun less than one half cycle of the input signal. Less than one half cycle means the conduction angle is less than 180 degree and typically 80 degree to 120 degree.
Reduced conduction angle improves efficiency but counts a lot of distortions.(Efficiency is around 90 percent)
Due to huge distortions which is not used in audio frequency application.
