Answer #1

Here the IP address of subnet is 175.23.0.0/16

Now since PC1 wants to send message to all the servers in subnet 2 , it basically wants to broadcast message to subnet 2.

So the destination address would be broadcast address of subnet 2.

Now in subnet 2 , # of network bits = 16 because of /16 notation while # of host bits = 16.

175.23.0.0 => 10101111 00010111 00000000 00000000

So the broadcast address is

10101111 00010111 11111111 11111111

=> 175.23.255.155

So the destination address in PC1's packet is 175.23.255.255
