Question : Does the area around a sewage water plant unsuitable for any organisms growth beacuse of the presence of chemicals in the soil?
Hypothesis: The different chemicals used in the sewage treatment planst are harmful for organisms which causes the loss of habitable environment for different organisms around the treatment plant.
Prediction: The area aound the sewage treatment plant will not show the presence of any animal, and the soil will have different chemicals.
Experimental design:
Independent variable: The distance form the sewage treatment plant
Dependent variable: The Presence of animals arpund the sewage treatment plant and the presence of chemicals in the soil.
Standardized variable: The type of organisms
Control group: The area with no sewage treatment plant nearby, and the soil present there.
Overview of procedure:
The presence of organsms will be tested around an area around the sewage treatment plant. The soil around the sewage treatment plant and that far from the sewage treatment plant will be tested.
Possible result:
The soil around the sewage treatment plant will show the presence of harmful chemicals.
Conclusion:
The different chemicals used in the sewage treatment planst are harmful for organisms which causes the loss of habitable environment for different organisms around the treatment plant.
