Ans Plants tissues are sussceptible to injury by various agents including pahogens, environmental insults. In plants wound induced adaptive responses are stimulated by new synthesis of plant hormone jasmonate and studies have shown that this hormone mediates systemic wound response

From the above graph it is quite evident that Jasmonate level under non damaging condition is low or we can say basal level. The level of JA in the wounded and unwounded part of the leaf increases meaning its induction is stress dependent. Moreover from the graph in the wounded part of the leaf the level is higher both than the unwounded plant and the unwounded part of the leaf. This means that the production of JA is directly related to the intensity of stress. I mean wounded part of leaf means more stressed than unwounded part of leaf which is less stressed
