Topic: Technology and Markets: Types of Innovation Based on your opinion on whether HP is pursuing an incremental innovation strategy or a radical innovation strategy at the corporate level, identify what potential changes would result at the business segment/business level of HP’s company based on what you have learned in Chapter 7 of your training materials.

In my Opinion, HP is the company which adopts Incremental Innovation strategy at corporate level because in This strategy company tried to make small innovations in its products which helps to create a demand in the market. Company HP offers products like Laptops, PC etc. The incremental innovation provided by HP are Touch Laptops,360 degree foldable laptops, Ultra thin Bezzel less laptops, Fingerprint sensor on the side of the laptop to access to laptop etc. these are small small innovations are conducted by the HP but It does not have any radical innovation which can disrupts the market and give it competitive advantage for a long period of time in the industry.

With this innovation strategy the potential changes would be the introduction of new factor or feature which would help the business to take Growth stage of the organization and then the innovation would reach to maturity stage to generate profit to business and create demand of their innovative products.The innovation strategy would require changes in business strategies like production, marketing strategy, budgeting etc.
