152 mg of CaI2/ml in calcidrin

For 5 ml,

CaI2 present = 152 x 5 = 760 mg

1 mole of CaI2 has 1 Ca and 2 I in it

moles of CaI2 = 760 mg/294 g/mol = 2.585 mmol

mEq of Ca = 2.585 x 2 = 5.2 mEq

mEq of Iodide = 2.585 x 1 = 2.585 mEq
