Null hypothesis , H0 : p = 0.5

alternate hypothesis , Ha : p \neq 0.5

(b) z test stat = (p0 -p)/((p(1-p)/n)0.5

p0 = 0.53

z = (0.53-0.5)/((0.5)(0.5)/100)0.5 = 0.6

(c) p value = 0.5485 (two talied)

(d) do not reject the null hypothesis
