If I am given a MIPS assembly instruction and asked to write the corresponding machine code bit string representation how do I know if it is R Format, I Format, or J Format?
Write the MIPS assembly code that creates the 32-bit constant 0010 0000 0000 0001 0100 1001 0010 0100 and stores that value to register $t1. From previous answers, I see that there is an lui and ori code. Where do those come from? Do they come from the mips reference sheet? Can I get a good explanation please.?
Please answer the following questions involving MIPS assembly code: A) For the C statement below, what is the corresponding MIPS assembly code? Assume f, g are stored in S1 and S2. f = g + (-f -5) B) For the C statement below, what is the corresponding MIPS assembly code? Assume i and j are assigned in registers S1 and S2 respectively and base of address of arrays A and B are in registers S6 and S7. B[8] = A[i...
2. [3 points] What is the MIPS assembly code to load the following 32-bit binary constant into the register $s0? 0000 0000 0011 1101 0000 1001 0000 0000
Question 5 The J instruction stores 26 bits of a 32-bit destination address. How does MIPS translate this into a 32-bit address? Explain.
2.39 Write the MIPS assembly code that creates the 32-bit constant 0010 0000 0000 0001 0100 1001 0010 01002 and stores that value to register $t1.

For the following C statement, what is the corresponding MIPS assembly code? Assume that the variables f, g, h, and i are given and could be considered 32-bit integers as declared in a C program. Use a minimal number of MIPS assembly instructions: f g(h 5); For the following C statement, what is the corresponding MIPS assembly code? Assume that the variables f, g, h, and i are given and could be considered 32-bit integers as declared in a C...
I need help with MIPS-32 assembly language. My question is how to open an existing text file, read from the file, display contents, and close the file read in MIPS32 using MARS 4.5 MIPS simulator. Existing text file is testfile.txt testfile.txt contains: 001010100101001100
a).For the following MIPS assembly code to be executed using the pipelined datapath, identify all of the data dependencies (which register in which instruction needs the result register value from which another instruction?) and enumerate them (give them numbers as 1,2, ...). b).Which dependencies are data hazards that will be resolved via forwarding and without a stall (you can specify the number(s) from the part a)? c).Which dependencies are data hazards that will cause a stall (you can specify the...
