Workplace violence is any act of harassment, physical assault or violence, disruptive behavior or intimidation at work place.

Following points needs to be covered under the policy:

  • Workplace violence is strictly prohibited
  • All employees are encouraged to report any matter of violence to manager or Human resource team
  • Information about the person or complaint will not be disclosed and secrecy will be maintained
  • Any person found guilty of involvement in workplace violence will be immediately terminated
  • The people who are involved in the violence will have to present the matter to committee who will decide on the matter
  • Responsibility will be of all employees to ensure safe work place environment
  • Information about committee members
  • Providing training to people on timely basis for refresher
  • Counseling of people under stress and stress management technique
