Explain  How is talking on a cell phone while driving different from talking to passengers while driving?

Drivers are far more distracted by talking on a cellular phone than by conversing with a passenger . A passenger talking to the driver can be heard easily than talking to somebody over the phone throughout driving. If you are talking to a passenger near you don’t even need to take off one hand from the steering wheel to take hold of that passenger. He just need to set beside or at the back and still keep your hands on the steering wheels and be able to hear him loud and clear. Talking over the phone will require you to take off one hand from the steering wheels put some effort in keeping them next to your ears and sometimes press the phone against the ears to try to take as much audio as you can even when the problem is the network reception also you concentrate on call or its sound . Drivers talking by cell phone drove significantly worse than drivers talking to passengers. A driver talking to a passenger is much akeen to talking over hand free headset. But the main difference is that the person who are with you will also listen to the road and vehicles and also they can warn you if you are driving dangerously.  The passenger can see what's going on, and hopefully will not demand your full attention in difficult traffic conditions. passengers took an active role in supporting the driver, often talking about surrounding traffic. That shared situational awareness could be helpful to the driver.
