Design of umbrella

our job is to design a powered mechanical umbrella so that it can be used in summers for shade and in winters it will remain closed. You must select the requirements on your own, however be realistic and thoughtful in your assumptions. For hint you can watch the videos on YouTube about umbrellas installed in the Khana Kaaba and Masjid e Nabwi. Everyone must have a unique solution.

You are required to design the certain parts of the case study which includes

1. Analyze the problem, identify the requirements and draw a schematic diagram outlining all the components that may be required in your design. 

2. Design all components especially shaft, spring, bearings and gears.

3. Demonstrate your own learning with adequate explanation of each step/process followed while solving the given problem. 

• Report should contain the following components,

o Explanation of the problem

o Assumptions clearly mentioned while solving the problem

o A clearly drawn layout of your design

o Calculations for each parameter

o A detailed discussion at the end of each parameter regarding its selection criteria and results.

Along with spring calculation.
