A Corrections Officer enforces rules and regulations to keep order within prisons. He supervises the activities of inmates to help them in rehabilitation and counsels the offenders. Inspects the facilities for; ensuring that the standards are met. Their day-to-day experience differs from that of the management as they are in direct contact with the inmates and it is more accurate. Thus it is on the reports of the corrections officer that the management should rely upon.
