1. A. We have 100+4 = 104, (104)*8 = 832, 62000+108 = 62108.

Also, 62108/20000 = 3.1054.

B. √10 = 3.1623 ( on rounding off to 4 decimal places).

Now, since π = 3.1416 ( on rounding off to 4 decimal places) and since 3.1416 – 3.1054 = 0.0356 and 3.1623-3.1416 = 0.0207, hence Brahmagupta’s approximation is more accurate.
