1) Due to hammering, the molecules of lead come into translational motion. So, the internal energy will change. Also, the molecules vibrate due to continuous hammering. Therefore, internal energy will increase.

Since no heat is supplied or absorbed, therefore, no heat will flow.

2) When we drop a hot stone into cold water, heat flows from the stone to the water. So, entropy will increase due to the change in temperature. Therefore, we can say that stone does work on the water.
