For example, in Column 2 record the pH of the water in test tube 1, then add 3 drops of 0.1M NaOH (sodium hydroxide, a base) to test tube 1 Shake well. In Column 4, record the new pH. If you are using a digital pH meter, round to the first decimal place; if you are using pH paper, report a range if necessary.
