Answer #1

8] The equations are,

i3 = i1-i2

1.34 - 10i1 - 12i3 - 15i1 =0

-1.37 - 18i2 - 22i2 + 12i3 = 0

putting value of i3 from first equation in  the second and third equation,

1.34 - 10i1 - 12i1 + 12i2 - 15i1 =0 or 1.34 -37i1 +12i2 =0

and -1.37 - 52i2 + 12i1 = 0

from last two equation,

i1 = 0.0299 A, i2 = 0.0194A

i3 = 0.0105 A

    Name: ENGT 3050 Fundamentals of Electricity LAB EXERCISE #3 Series and Parallel Circuits Objectives: The objective of this exercise is to examine Kirchhoff's Voltage and Current Laws. Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL) states, for a closed loop series path the algebraic sum of all the voltages around any closed loop in a circuit is equal to zero. Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL) states, for a parallel path the total current entering a circuits junction is exactly equal to the total current leaving...

    please help with problems 7 and 8, I am extremely confused! Part 2: Kirchhoff's Rules For the circuit shown below, the directions of the currents through the circuit elements has been chosen arbitrarily. Using Kirchhoff's rules, you will determine the actual currents through the circuit elements. (Yes, this circuit could be analyzed using equivalent resistance, but don't do it that way.) Do not Click run/Stop. This is a circuit that has elements that are neither series nor parallel, as well as multiple voltage sources. The best way for us to analyze this circuit is to use Kirchoff's laws. From the text here are Kirchoff's laws: 1) The sum...

    In this Lab you would connect resistors in various combinations then use the multi- meter to measure various currents and voltages. I have copied the schematics of the various circuits from the lab and completed portions of the data table with hypothetical (but highly probable) answers. Your task is to complete the data tables and answer the following questions. The value of a resistor can be determined by reading the colored stripes on the resistor. The color codes are given...
