Accounting Memo to the accountants Topic: Best practices for communicating with clients about making significant changes to the clients’ accounting processes.

MEMO: To all Accountants :

The company, now and then, use to make changes in the Clients accounting processes as per the Accounting Package, the industry trend and the convenience of both company and client. The clients should be informed about the changes alongwith the reasons for doing so. Under the best practices for communicating with Clients about making significant changes to the Client’s accounting processes should be counted as:

1) Content : It should a) Precise : The precise and to the point message. b) Quick understandable : The message should be easily understandable. c) Economy: The cost of communication should be within budget. d) Consent : the response of the clients should be there towards changes in Accounting processes.

2) Newspaper Ad Content: The clients must be communicated through newspaper by publishing to the point information with the reasoning of doing the changes made in the accounting processes of clients. In this practice all the clients can be intimated in one shot.

3)) Media with Invoice: The Client should be communicating about the changes in the accounting processes of client are information letter forwarded with Invoice. The special intimation of the changes made in clients accounting processes is through Telecon.

3) Intimation in Meeting: The clients should be intimated in the various Clients’ Meetings about the changes made in their accounting processes. These meeting could be Annual General Meeting, Clients Promotion Meet, etc.

4) Separate intimation on E-Mail: The individually information can be provided on the Clients E-mails instantly towards the changes made in the clients accounting processes.
