Answer #1

Answer - Oxytocin and vasopressin are hormones both secreted by posterior pituitary .

Amino acid sequence of oxytocin is Met-Cys-Tyr-IIe-Gln-Asn-Cys-Pro-Leu-Gly

Oxytocin can be mutated to vasopressin if two single gene mutations occur and change the DNA sequence of

oxytocin as follows ;

  •   IIe to    Phe
  • Leu to    Arg
