At equlibirium, succiny-co A is formed by a ratio of 20:1 over methylmalonyl-coA.

Acetyls CoA are formed from each fatty acid: n/2, where n is the number of carbons.

the number of necessary rounds is (n/2) -1

(20/2)-1=9 beta oxdation is required for complete oxidation
