Annealing is a process in which metals are heated and then cooled such that their physical , mechanical and electrical properties are different from their parent form earlier.

It makes metals soft and easily to bend, such that they can be used in many forms. Hence, option 'a' is not correct.

Since, metals after annealing is soft and easily to bends leads to increase in ductility. Hence, option 'e' is also not correct.

As we know that after annealing, metals becomes soft with more ductility. Hence metal's internal stress are relieved and internal stress decreases. Therefore, option 'c' is also not correct.

During annealing new stress free nucleate forms at high stress region in the cold worked micro-structure and hence metal's strength decreases while annealing. Hence, option 'b' is correct one.

Annealing helps in increasing grain size as new ncleate grains are induced from the pre-existing micro-structure. Hence, option 'd' is not correct.
