Salesforce helps to grow the business by strengthening their customer relationships. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) helps companies to understand their customers needs and solve problems by Interacting with them . Generally Leads are the people and companies that you’ve identified as potential customers. In Salesforce, information about leads is stored in Lead records. Master Data is referred to as the core data that contains the information about parties, places etc. The lead master data enables to track the presales activities for a potential customer. To create a lead, the master data that is needed for this process are Lead's name, company's name, phone number, Email address, Lead status. When the lead buys a product or service, then the lead becomes a customer. Next we have to change the type of the business partner master record from lead to customer. The information you've added to the lead master data record is saved.
