Answer #1

6) generally frictional power loss is sum of all the power lost by fricton and viscosity loses... general this frictional losses increases by increase in engine speed , this. is because of increasing viscous resistance due to increse in velocity gradiant between parts( ie du/dy) ...this may be only one of the reasons

in general by experimental analysis there will be linearly increasing graph between frictional loss and engine speed

8) the following advantages for two stroke cycle

1)mass of flywheel required will be less when compared to four stroke

beacuse there will be a power stroke for every 2 strokes but in four stroke there will be one power stroke for every four strokes

2) the design of two stroke is much simpler than four stroke

beacuse. to two stroke consists of ports which are very simple than valves in four stroke

3) power is more produced in two stroke cycle due power stroke for every two strokes
