Answer #1

a)     Absorbance and concentration are related by the equation

   Absorbance = 0.6, Concentration (x) = ?

       Substitute y value

The approaximate molar concentration of metal(II) ion solution is 0.0000223M.

b)

            The concentration of metal(II) ion solution (x) = 0.00014M

             Absorbance (y) = 23282 * 0.00014 + 0.0811

                                       = 3.34
