You have collected data from clients at a local agency and asked them to complete a survey that measures their perceptions toward social workers. The level of measurement for the perceptions toward social workers variable is interval. What type of test can be used to analyze the data?

Answer #1

Chi square

The best test among those listed is chi square.

Since the clients are asked to complete a survey that measures their perceptions toward social workers, so it would be best if we used chi square test in order to analyse whether the perception changes by type of treatment.

in comparing the engagement levels of first-year statistics students. In a previous nation-wide study, engagement levels were found to be normally distributed, with µ=60.00, σ=10.00. The lecturer collects a convenience sample of 50 first-year students and finds that her students have a mean engagement level equal to 75.54. What statistical procedure should be used, to test whether there is a significant mean difference in engagement levels between the lecturer’s first year students and the population average? a. You decide to test spatial reasoning using ANOVA completion time scores for the paper-folding test with five people, repeating the test on each person with three difterent noise types (dassical and nature sounds). In this experiment, the null hypothesis is that O There are no differences in the mean completion times among the noise types compared O The completion time...

based on this assignment: For this assignment, you will undertake an analysis based on a self-designed fictitious study that utilizes statistical methodologies. You will first develop a fictitious problem to examine - it can be anything. For example, maybe you want to look at whether scores on a standardized college placement test (like the SAT) are related to the level of income a person makes 10 years after college; Or, whether those who participate in a Leadership Training program rated...

What type of statistical test should be used? 2. A researcher is interested in learning more about the protective effects of exercise. He conducts a study where he collects information about stress levels (measured on a multi-item Likert scale) and hours of exercise completed in a week (1,2,3,4,etc.,etc.). What type...
