Could someone complete these questions for a few examples like a ferris wheel, the vibration of a guitar string, and a ceiling fan?

Periodic motion is any motion that repeats itself (same position and velocity).
An oscillation is a special case of periodic motion about an equilibrium (zero net force location).
Simple harmonic motion (SHM) is a special case of an oscillation where the net force is proportional to displacement and the position as a function of time is a sine or cosine function.

1) Provide an example of periodic motion (not one from your lab kit). The title of your post should be the name of the system. Provide further description in your post including a description of a free-body diagram (or more than one if it changes significantly). Do not include any initial disturbance in your free-body diagram.
2) Estimate the period (amount of time it takes to repeat itself). If you don't provide a number, then you will lose points.
3) Specify whether or not the motion is an oscillation. If it is an oscillation, then specify its equilibrium location (show that the net force is zero) and estimate its amplitude. If you don't provide a number, then you will lose points.
4) Specify whether or not the motion is simple harmonic motion. Provide evidence for your assertion (show that force is or is not proportional to displacement or position as a function of time is or is not sinusoidal).
