Imagine you perform thebff regressions:
. Income = B1 *DEBT + C1
. Income = B2* STOCKS + C2
where the Cs are just constants. Both regressions appear to be significant because (p < a) for joth regressions. However, B2 is special because STOCKS also strongly positively correlates to INCOME; while DEBT does not. if you are allowed to choose only one regression as the best regression, which would one you choose? Why?
