a. Social research question : Does the increased use of social media leads to a recession in business activities?

b. The population of interest will be both the entrepreneurs and the consumers. Because the users of social media while using mobile phones not willing to raise their head up and won't see any shops in the streets they are walking. Likewise the salesmen and sales women in the shops while they are using a social media will have a laziness to exhibit the products. This will lead to a decrease in the goodwill of the shop and consumers will go for any other shops. So its good to receive information from both the consumers and the shop owners.

C. Purposivesampling will be more convenient since the population is spread out all around the world. So a convenient sample can be selected by purposive sampling method.

d. The study is observational since the study may not lead us to the exact answer since the study is based on samples and not the populations.

The firststep is to prepare two questionnaires and distribute among the customers and shop owners. The two questionnaires should consists of the questions which wouldcover entire case under study. After collection of the relevant data the classification according to the responses should be carried out. Then the analysis will give the relevant answer to the problem. Statistical tools like correlation regression, testing etc. can be used for an exact conclusion of the study.
