Answer #1

Answer:

Intermolecular forces present in CH3OCH2Cl is     (CH3OCH2Cl is a liquid)

1) Dipole dipole interaction     (most important)

Reason: This is so because C-Cl bond is polar which makes whole molecule polar so there exist dipole dipole interaction.

2) London Dispersion Forces

Because this kind of forces is present in every compound having any mass or volume and its strength increase with mass and volume of molecule.

Intermolecular forces present in C10H12 is,     (C10H12 is a liquid)

1) - interaction (most important)

Because there is ring in each molecule. (by the way C10H12 is 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene)

2) 1) London dispersion forces
