Answer #1

Potential difference, dV = (lambda/2 pi e0) ln(rb/ra)

ln(rb/ra) = (2 pi e0) dV/lambda

rb = ra e(2 pi e0) dV/lambda

rb = 2.9 e(2 pi x 8.85 x 10^-12 x 175)/(17 x 10^-9)

rb = 5.14 cm

Distance, x = 5.14 - 2.9 = 2.24 cm
