When trying to implement PID control, it is said that we typically find three types of process namely a) resistance type process.
b) capacitive type process and
c) inertia type processes.
In most instances, inertia processes are quite uncommon. Carefully consider your experience over the years, and describe an application, which according to your understanding of the subject matter, comprises of both Resistance and Capacitance effects

The best example of such a system is a mass-spring-damper systems, as seen very commonly in automobile suspension systems. The mass in these systems contributes the inertial effect, the damper provides the capacitive effect and the spring provides the resistive effect. The reason is that the spring effect is a linear effect with respect to the displacement, and the damper provides a dampening force proportional to dx/dt, where x is the displacement.
