Answer #1

an example of regulation is when your body's Oxygenated___ blood gets pumped through your _Heart__ into your arms, legs, and head.

Oxygenated blood from the heart is pumped to all body parts and then all deoxygenated blood comes back to the heart where is it is transferred to the lungs so that oxygen is transferred to the blood and then again pumped to heart and from there again transferred to rest of the body.

Please give a thumbs up!!!!!!!! Ask any doubts regarding the above question in the comment section !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Your heart does work to pump blood through your body. Each minute, 5.0 L of blood travels through your circulatory system. The pressure drops from 16 kPa as it exits the heart to approximately zero as it returns to the heart. We can calculate the work required to move a fluid volume V through a pressure difference with a formula very similar to the one you saw for work in gases. Part A What is the work done to pump...

Path of Blood in the Body In adult mammals, including humans, the heart is a double pump. The right ventricle po pulmonary circuit-to the lungs and back to the heart (Fig. 16:3). While the blood up carbon dioxide and gains oxygen. The left ventricle pumps blood to the systemic whole body except to the lungs. Blood in the systemic circuit gives up oxygen and gains Figure 16.3 shows the path of blood in both the pulmonary and systemic circuits in...
