Answer #1

Technology is developed for betterment of human life standards . Technology helps to solve our basic problems and helps to do our daily tasks efficiently.

Scientists and technocrats develop technology so that it can help to fulfill human growing needs , but SOME PEOPLE GREED makes the role of technology to loose its purpose , people who control or possess technology start misusing it for profits and personal benefits .

Example :

a) Fracking which is the process in which we try to inject the liquid at high pressure into rocks or boreholes to extract out the oil and gas . This is extraction technology but if done for greed and in excess manner , it can contaminate the neaby groundwater , soil and hence cause WIDESPREAD issues with respect to heatlh and Technology which was for BETTER PURPOSE WILL BECOME A CONTROVERSIAL ISSUE .

b) Genetic engineering which is a technology for medical purpose , may also become useless if done for things which are against nature and cause damage to users instead of benefitting them . We should use it in effective manner to find solution for diseases that remain still incurable instead of using as tool for playing with our basic natural genetic makeup.
