1) What are the units on the rate constant ( the reaction is a 2nd order in one of the reactants and 0 in the other one) ?


2) What is the difference between reaction orders of the reactants and the stoichiometric coefficients of the reaction ? Do they have the same value?

3) Suppose we have a reaction of decomposition does the water affect the reaction rate? Assume we are not sure if the water is a reactant or not.

4) Why reaction orders are always a whole number such as 0, 1, 2, 3, etc .. ?
