Consider the effect on the experimental results if some water did get into the flask and evaporate along with the volatile liquid during part 1 of the experiment. Would the experimental molar mass measured for the liquid (2 propanol or acetone) be larger, smaller, or the same as it would be if the water did not get into the flask?

Molar mass of any component is a colligative property which depends only upon the number of particle of the component.when water is added to the acetone then there will be some association with the acetone molecules because of hydrogen bonding and molar mass is directly proportional to the association of the particles so experimental molar mass of acetone increases when water is added to the acetone.
