Investigate how others have told their story.
What are the keys that have made their stories so good?
Upon investigation, it was concluded that others have told a good story. Their story carried a moral lesson in a manner that it could be better linked with the output. This output was mainly in the form of persuasion. The story was told to persuade the audience to act in a certain manner by getting inspired by listening to such stories. Hence these stories were good because they empathetically reach out to the audiences.
The keys to such stories were that those stories could be real or even fictional, but there needed to be genuineness attached to it so that it helps the audience to connect and learn from the same. Too much of hyped situations in the story, may only divert the audience’s attention from the urge to learn something out of it. Hence, another recurring element of such story was that it needed to be simple, grounded and quite universal in nature. Another key element is that the details presented in the story was such that it could be relevant to the point which was trying to be conveyed through it. The audience, to whom the story was aimed at, was in fact, well defined so that the audience could connect with the story in a better way. It was structured as well so that the clarification was less needed once the story was narrated. In this regard, the recurring elements included structure, audience definition and detail. The story set an example to the audience by sharing the demonstration of the lesson instead of simply telling what the lesson is all about. The recurring element further included any sort of trouble that the audience might have to face, if landed in such a situation and should also point out the way to be successful while being in such a pressure.
Besides, such stories should also had the power to inspire people to pick up an act which is similar to what the story’s central idea revolves around. Another key was that it was highly interactive and engaging to the audiences. In this way, it is certain that it is simplicity in the stories, structured content, exemplary show, relatable general incidences and interaction in the stories that help them be termed as good and persuasive in nature to the audiences.
