Answer #1

The closing phase of a group occurs prior to the actual termination and this phase is characterized in a bereavement group by analysing and evaluating the progress, establishing support, providing feedback on improvement and is mostly client focused. This may also include follow up care or referral to other services. On the other hand, the closing phase of a task oriented bake sale group would include analysis of the feedback, estimation of the expenses and evaluation of the effectiveness of the task and objectives.
