For the use of a periodic/priority scheduler, there needs to exist fixed number of jobs for each processor but if there are multiple processors in the system, then dynamic periodic scheduler could be used to manage the jobs that are created all the time and are in queue. Hence it may make sense to use periodic/priority scheduler for a system in such cases.
