Answer #1

It can be said that generation Y called Millennials and their age group ranges from the year 1984 to 1994 and generation Z ranges from the year 1995 to 2012. Due to their differences in the age group, their perspective, ways of thinking, behavior, attitude, technical knowledge, flexibility, etc. can easily differ and thus this can be a source of conflicts in the workplace. Managers sometimes face many difficulties to manage these problems. As generation Z is more into a digital environment and they prefer communication through text messages, gifs, tweets, etc. whereas generation Y prefers communication through phone calls and via emails, there always lies a communication gap between them as they don't tend to get along much. It totally depends upon the leaders to manager older and younger generation altogether so that people like Ellie and Tony from Millennials and people like Abby and Tim from Generation Z can work together with cooperation.

Hope this helps :)
